At JAK Logistics, we are seeking a full time professional Class A team with doubles endorsements for our dedicated Portland team run. No codriver, no problem. We will pair you with an experienced codriver. However, a ready made team is strongly preferred. If you are a team out of the Sacramento area this will be your schedule returning from Sacramento. Your week would start and end in Sacramento. From the Sacramento yard you will go to Reno for Portland freight. You will then run Reno to Portland and back starting 11 PM Sunday- Monday 2 AM for five loops returning Friday night. This schedule may rotate days dependent on HOS and timing of freight demands.
Some chaining will be required when severe weather or restrictions are in play. Alternate routes may be available. We pay for chaining. This is not a local position, this is a TEAM position. No owner operators. Driver must have minimum one year of tractor trailer experience within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. Driver must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training, a pre, en-route, and post trip inspection process with a company app, and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. Pay:
Already a FedEx approved driver and still active in the system? A sign on bonus is available.
Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Detention time paid when there is detention time.

Team chaining pay
FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Veterans also preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required.
Dependable transportation is required. Trucks are not taken home. You must be ready to show up on time every week with no call offs. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies.

Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2026 Freightliner with a DD15 engine, refrigerator, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
